With WWE's "WrestleMania 29" taking place just outside New York City in East Rutherford, NJ last night, there was a lot of promotion in the Tri-state area. WWE wrestlers were going all over to various media outlets to promote Sunday night's April 7 show at MetLife Stadium, which happens to be wrestling's equivalent to the Super Bowl. One of the more enjoyable media appearances was on Z100's "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show." The morning show is on top 40 station Z100 in New York and is also heard nationwide in various other cities. Last week, the morning show gave WWE wrestlers such as CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Jimmy Hart and others the chance to sing karaoke to Taylor Swift's hit single "22." Comedian Kathy Griffin's talk show has been cancelled by Bravo. The fiery red-head's talk show "Kathy" will not continue after two seasons on the air. The 52-year-old talk show host reportedly made the announcement during a live show in Cincinnati before posting the news on her Twitter account. The Super Bowl of wrestling, WrestleMania, finally happened last night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Sunday night the WWE hosted "WrestleMania 29" in front of over 80,000 fans and broke numerous records. WWE sent out a press release announcing "WrestleMania 29" became its highest grossing live event in WWE's history while also breaking the record for MetLife stadium's highest grossing entertainment event. Mega church pastor Rick Warren's son Matthew Warren is dead at the age of 27 after committing suicide. Pastor Rick Warren said today (Saturday April 6) that his son committed suicide after a life long battle with mental illness. Warren, a famous Orange County, California evangelical pastor, relayed the news to his congregation at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.
