Psy's "Gangnam Style" is busy knocking down old records. Most recently, it topped the Guinness World Record for the most "liked" music video in all of internet history, knocking down LMFAO's previous record with "Party Rock Anthem". While South Korean rapper Psy's viral hit "Gangnam Style" has nothing to do with actual gangs, two rival groups in Thailand decided to make the song's dance moves the center of a heated and violent exchange in a recent gun-brandishing shoot-out. According to the Thai news source INN (and translated by the Guardian) young members of two opposing gangs challenged one other in a "Gangnam Style" inspired dance-off - where each individual danced the viral hit's moves "provocatively" until things got out-of-hand and erupted in gun fire in the city of Bangkok. Rapper Psy's YouTube dance hit "Gangnam Style" has reached over 200 million views on the popular viral video website, and has since been the object of many video spoofs and parodies because of such vast popularity. One video posted this week by YouTube user "Yuanjin8899" shows Hitler (played by Swiss actor Bruno Ganz in the hit 2004 film "Downfall") dancing and singing along to the South Korean tune. The video makes little sense and was obviously posted simply for entertainment purposes, but some fans beg to question, are the themes of some video parodies getting a little too out of hand? The rapper reached 100 million views on Sept. 4th, and in just 13 days he increased by another 100 million.
