Country music legend Garth Brooks is facing a lawsuit from his former production partner Lisa Sanderson due to the singer "getting in the way" of lucrative deals. Sanderson also alleges that Brooks never made good on a 50/50 profit-sharing agreement. In court documents, Sanderson also claims that Brooks' public persona is a rouse and that he is in fact a "paranoid, angry, deceitful and vindictive man who will turn against those closest to him on a dime." After six years of opening each week’s “Sunday Night Football” coverage with a rendition of the theme song, country music singer Faith Hill has decided to step down as the voice of the show. Her song “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” (which is set to the tune of Joan Jett’s 1988 hit “I Hate Myself for Loving You”) will no longer be the theme to the National Football League’s highest rated show of the last two years. Former Fugees member and Grammy Award-winning singer Lauryn Hill apparently has not been paying taxes, but she has given a reason why. After being charged with 3 counts of tax evasion, 37-year-old Hill has filed court documents that claim that she did not pay due to threats against her family. Though he is the accused murderer of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius was reportedly seen this weekend out drinking and partying with some friends. Steenkamp, a model and reality show star, was shot to death at her home she shared with Oscar, in an alleged Valentine's Day mix up. Pistorius, a double amputee Olympic runner, says that he shot his then girlfriend thinking she was an intruder. Prosecutors on the case are trying to prove otherwise. Read More »
The pregnant Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William will be moving into their Kensington Palace apartment with the latest heir to the throne this fall and it looks like the Duchess might be antique shopping to decorate their new home. Some have even suggested that she might be thinking about decorating her prince or princess' nursery as well! The royal couple has their Amner country home available soon, as well, so perhaps Kate is preparing for both homes. Every year the Coachella Music Festival allows concertgoers to experience once-in-a-lifetime experiences, but this one might have been the most surprising. While watching Phoenix perform on the second day of the festival, fans expected the band to be joined by their friends and fellow French musical act, Daft Punk. The electronica act has already been stirring up excitement at the festival, so it would make sense for them to join Phoenix for a special performance. Unfortunately this did not happen. However, R. Vince Vaughn hosted this week's episode of "Saturday Night Live" with a Miguel as the musical guest. Vaughn had previously hosted in the late 1990s and opened the episode strong with a quick-witted monologue that involved a few audience members and his infamous gusto. As the night went on, it felt like the sketches were more thought out with each player having more of a role in each. Some of the best cast members (specifically Bill Hader) got more on-air time than they usually do, which was a huge plus. According to ticket sales, the 23-year-old's "Red" tour is outselling ex John Mayer's "Born and Raised" tour by an astounding 57 to 1 comparison. Not only that, she is also outselling her ex Joe Jonas' reunion tour with his brothers, the Jonas Brothers, by 19 times. One Direction's "Up All Night" tour has outsold the "Red" tour, but splitting that revenue five ways has Swift making more money than her latest ex, Harry Styles. The couple married in 1993 and has twins together, 17-year-old Johnny and Kristopher. 62-year-old Syemour apparently threw the 65-year-old Keach out of their home several months ago with infidelity being the reason of doing so.
