Kate Middleton might be six months pregnant, but she clearly has not been slacking on her royal duties. Just this week it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge has added three new charities to the list of organizations that she endorses and helps manage. These charities are the Natural History Museum, Place2Be, and SportsAide. With three more months until her delivery in July, the 31-year-old royal will hold meetings and visits for these additions to her duties. Country music legend George Jones has been hospitalized in Nashville, Tennessee. The 81-year-old singer's website announced the news yesterday along with some postponed shows due to the hospitalization. This is the latest of a number of hospital visits for the "Choices" singer that he had to partake in while on tour. Last May, Jones entered the hospital briefly for respiratory issues. He was also hospitalized overnight in January 2011 after a routine exam. Read More »
Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler has her own advice series on YouTube entitled "Ask Amy." The series is featured on her YouTube channel "Smart Girls." In this video series, the 41-year-old actress and soon-to-be-author answers questions from young women who send them in. In this installment, a 16-year-old girl asks Amy about avoiding awful, indecent, and violent images and videos on the Internet even if all of your friends have seen them and are talking about them. The New England Patriots' wide receiver, Julian Edelman, posted a picture on his Twitter of him and Silver Linings Playbook actor Bradley Cooper visiting Boston Marathon bombing victim Jeffrey Bauman Jr. Cooper and Edelman were visiting numerous patients at one of the city's hospitals yesterday. Bauman, who lost both of his legs below the knees as a result of the explosion, played a big part in tracking down the Bombing suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Read More »
It looks like, despite some controversy over this year's Academy Awards, Seth MacFarlane did a good enough job at hosting the 2013 Oscars that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has asked him back for the 2014 awards shows. The "Family Guy" creator has not accepted the inviation yet but 2013's producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are already confirmed for 2014. Read More »

The eighth season of the hit Showtime serial killer drama Dexter will be its last according to an announcement by the network. Thankfully, just a day after making the announcement, the network released the first teaser clip for what is now known to be the final season. This clip is about two minutes long and shows Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) interacting in a Miami supermarket. Paul McCartney has shown his support in the United States' campaign for gun control legislation. The former Beatle joins other iconic figures such as Tony Bennet, Yoko Ono, and Gloria Estefan in the campaign. Unfortunately, even with the backing of these music legends, on Wednesday the senate voted down a packet of gun reforms that had been drafted in response to the Newtown school massacre. Amanda Knox and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were accused of the 2007 slaying of British student Meredith Kercher. After serving four years in prison, the two were acquitted and released in 2011. But just last month, an Italian court ruling ordered a retrial on the case. So in a recent interview with People Magazine, it came as no surprise when the 25-year-old shared that she sometimes feels "paralyzed" with anxiety.
