We all know that One Direction fans are pretty protective over the members of the pop group. In light of the recent relationship and break up between Brit Harry Styles and American pop sensation Taylor Swift, these fans have grown to dislike the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer, so much so that they would yell abusive comments at her in the street. The pregnant Duchess, her husband, and her brother-in-law visited the Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in London yesterday and saw plenty of movie memorabilia. Kate, William and Harry all got the chance to hold Harry Potter wands and even get to see Batman's suit and vehicles from the Dark Knight trilogy. The six-months-pregnant Duchess showed off her growing baby bump in a polka dot dress as she and the Princes toured the exhibits with over 500 hundred children and their parents. Point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Russell Westbrook, is set to undergo surgery to repair cartilage in his right knee as a lateral meniscus tear. This news of course comes after game two of their playoffs with the Houston Rockets, of which the Thunder lead two games to none. Westbrook sustained his injury during this Wednesday night game. Season 3 of AMC's "The Walking Dead" might have just come to a bloody conclusion, but season 4, airing in October of 2013, is already in pre-production and casting is moving along nicely. The series has just picked up another actor from one of television's most iconic shows, "The Wire." Lawrence "Larry" Gillard Jr. from the HBO crime drama is set to join the post-apocalyptic show's next season as Bob Stookey, a former Army medic who winds up becoming a key character for the Governor. "Saturday Night Live" has announced the last few hosts for the end of its 38th season. Zach Galifianakis is set to host next week's episode (May 4) with musical guest Of Monsters and Men, but this has been known for a few weeks. The last two episodes of this season will be hosted Kristen Wiig (May 11) and Ben Affleck (May 18). This new comeback season, exclusively on Netflix, will allow fans to dive right back into the wacky lives of the Bluths. 15 new episodes will premiere on May 26 on Netflix and are designed to be viewed in any order. Country Music Hall of Famer George Jones has died at the age of 81 after being in the hospital since April 18. He passed away in Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Canter after being admitted for irregular blood pressure and a fever. This hospitalization forced the country music star to cancel and postpone a few shows on his final outing, "The Grand Tour," but now it looks like the whole tour is done. NASCAR racer Danica Patrick's divorce from husband Paul Hospenthal has officially been confirmed. The Go Daddy model and championship racer is officially single, as in unmarried. Sorry guys, she is still dating fellow racer Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The 31-year-old filed for divorce in January and it was finalized on April 17. Married in 2005, Patrick and Hospenthal, a physical therapist who is 17 years her senior, were married in 2005 and have no children. Read More »
When people think of a Boston Red Sox game at FenWay Park, one of Neil Diamond's songs comes to mind. "Sweet Caroline," arguably the songwriter's biggest hit, has become the unofficial anthem of the city in the aftermath of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing. As a tribute to the great city that adopted his song years ago for baseball games, Neil Diamond himself performed the hit at FenWay Park on April 20. Not only that, the successful singer has decided to donate the royalties of the song's sales to One Fund Boston, a charity set up for the victims and families of the Boston Marathon bombing. BBC's (and BBC America's) legendary hit show Doctor Who returns tomorrow evening with its season seven episode "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS." That is right, fans! The Avengers director has his hands full these days. He is currently working on a pilot for the Marvel Universe-themed show, "S.H.E.I.L.D." and is apparently drafting up scripts for the sequel to his 2012 blockbuster movie. Jimmy Kimmel gave a toast at the TIME 100 Gala, which honored the 100 most influential people as named by the magazine. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live" host was among those honored and he took some time to toast his fellow honorees.
