Taylor Swift “Catnap” Instagram [PHOTO] Post Following Christmas 2014 [VIDEO]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 30, 2014 09:24 AM EST

We’ve grown so used to hearing about humans taking catnaps that we actually forgot about cats taking actual catnaps. Well, luckily Taylor Swift is here to remind us that cats look pretty damn cute during their naps. Following those huge feuding rumors over whether or not “Bad Blood” – off the singer’s newest album 1989 – is actually about Katy Perry, Swift posted the below pic to her Instagram account of her on a plane holding Detective Olivia Benson … not the real one, of course. The cat-version. The photo post comes just after former boyfriend John Mayer posted a pretty trippy video to his Instagram page, which shows his iPhone having a glitch that is “tripping balls.” Read More »

Sony Exec Amy Pascal Hopes 'The Interview' Success Saves Her Job [VIDEO]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 29, 2014 12:41 PM EST

While James Franco and Seth Rogen’s The Interview did pretty damn well over the weekend – mainly in online rentals and sales – it seems there’s another person who was pretty happy about it … Sony exec Amy Pascal. You remember her; Pascal was on the other end of those horrible Scott Rudin emails, which slammed the likes of Angelina Jolie for being a “brat” and “untalented.” Of course, that also let to the eventual pull (and then un-pull) of The Interview. Well, now Pascal is hoping the film’s success saves her job at Sony following the company’s massive email hack at the hands of North Korea … supposedly. Read More »

Looks like John Mayer had one interesting Holiday Season. Though perhaps the best word would be a “frustrating” holiday seasons … mainly because it seems like iPhone is pretty busted. The former beau to Katy Perry and Taylor Swift recently posted a video to his Instagram account, one that shows the screen of his phone doing some pretty funky things. Though, of course, the Paradise Valley singer just claims the phone is “tripping balls.” Read More »

Lisa Kudrow ‘The Comeback’ [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 28, 2014 11:00 PM EST

Back in 2005, fans of Lisa Kudrow immediately found themselves thrilled at the fact that the former Friends star was returning to television as Valerie Cherish in HBO’s The Comeback. And while it only lasted one season, that didn’t stop fans from clamoring and yearning for more of the oh, so persistent actress. Well, nine years later, they finally got their wish when HBO decided to revisit the series for an eight-episode, second season which ended earlier tonight with Kudrow’s character winning herself an Emmy for her new show Seeing Red – created by her Season 1 “nemesis” Paulie G (played by actor Lance Barber). And while she’s not necessarily present to accept the award, it seems that when she episode ends she’s right where she wants to be. Lisa Kudrow recently spoke with MStars News about Season 2 of The Comeback, her role as Valerie Cherish and even her thoughts on whether or not she’d be into doing a Friends movie and reprise her role as Phoebe Buffay. New 'Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee' Single Shot [VIDEO]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 26, 2014 09:12 AM EST

What makes a comedian a comedian? Many would merely cut it down to something as vague as “someone who tells jokes” – but if you ask Jerry Seinfeld and a number of his funny friends, it appears there’s so much more involved. The veteran comic recently put together a small group of clips to release his newest Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Single Shot “What Is A Comedian?” to try and answer the question. And to help him along, the comic invited in clips from his episodes with Top Five writer-director-star Chris Rock, former (and some may say fired) Tonight Show host Jay Leno, Parks and Rec star Aziz Ansari and a number of others. You'll Never Guess Who Is In The Top 10 Overpaid Actors List! [VIDEO]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 24, 2014 01:12 PM EST

It’s no secret that Hollywood’s finest are some of the most overpaid people on the face of the planet. Honestly, $10 million (and that’s being conservative) to act like someone else for half a year? Come on. Of course, we’re not saying it’s not a hard industry – perhaps one of the hardest, especially to make it in. But we’re just saying, teachers are pretty good people, too. Anyway, it’s now being said that Adam Sandler, Johnny Depp and Ben Stiller are among the highest overpaid actors in the business of show. And since Stiller just dropped his Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (the third installment), it seems he’s raking in even more of that overcompensation. Read More »

By kyle-dowling | Dec 23, 2014 03:22 PM EST

Several years ago, HBO ended it’s critically acclaimed series Entourage, leaving fans around the globe rather heart-broken, yet thrilled the way it worked out in the end for the boys from Queens. And after all the talk surrounding a movie, it’s finally coming closer to being true. Creator Doug Ellin has released the very first trailer for the Entourage movie, which features Vincent Chase and the whole crew from the series – including Kevin Connelly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillon (Johnny “Drama” Chase) and Jerry Ferrara (Turtle). Senator Rand Paul, Jerry Seinfeld Celebrate ‘Festivus’ On Twitter [PHOTOS]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 23, 2014 01:51 PM EST

Happy Festivus, people! As the holiday made popular by the folks over at Seinfeld and Frank Costanza (played hilariously by Jerry Stiller), Festivus has become an uber popular holiday over the years! Of course, not the whole crowding-around-a-pole thing, but at least the airing of the grievances. And this year, it looks like Jerry Seinfeld and Senator Rand Paul are celebrating the faux holiday with a bang, with the latter having some really direct things to say on Twitter to Washington. And it’s just in time because Seinfeld just finished up Season 5 of his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which housed Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Read More »

Twitter Sued By Sony Following Email Hack-Related Tweets? [VIDEO]

By kyle-dowling | Dec 23, 2014 11:23 AM EST

It hasn’t happened yet, but Sony has certainly threatened Twitter after some hack-related tweets have come out following word (and visuals) of that famed hacking job, which is reportedly from our friends over at North Korea. The hack job leaked a number of emails that took place within the industry, specifically ones between producer Scott Rudin and Sony’s Amy Pascal about Angelina Jolie as well as a number of others. The intention of the hack was to have the company pull the heavily anticipated Seth Rogen, James Franco-led film The Interview – in which the two travel to North Korea to kill Kim Jong-un. And, well, it happened. Sony pulled the movie… Read More »
