Looks like John Mayer is really putting together a list of heavy hitters for his stint hosting the once-upon-a-time Craig Ferguson backed CBS talk show. The boyfriend to Super Bowl Halftime Show Katy Perry hits the Late Late Show seat this coming Feb. 4 and will do so until the 6th. And now, he’s confirmed that Ed Sheeran will be stopping by and sit panel as well as perform. Will they talk about all of the controversy surrounding the x singer and Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher? Well, the Super Bowl XLIX is coming up this Sunday, Feb. 1. To celebrate, the city of Seattle – who will be celebrating their defending champs, the Seattle Seahawks – has asked Dave Matthews to raise the Seahawks’ 12th man flag during a ceremony this coming Thursday, Jan. 29. News of the Dave Matthews Band frontman’s hoist comes just after the whole Tom Brady, New England Patriots – who will be playing the Seahawks this Sunday – “DeflateGate” scandal, which claims the team was using deflated footballs during their game last week. Just before last year’s Super Bowl kicked off, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly was named the man who would interview President Barack Obama for the pre-game interview. And after he was met with many slams and negative comments following the interview – in which it seemed he somewhat bullied the President – it looks like the networks decided to go with safer, yet still entertaining personality for the 2015 NFL games: Savannah Guthrie. Looks like HBO’s Togetherness isn’t the only news coming from the Duplass gang as of late. It’s being reported that the famed brothers of Mark and Jay Duplass has recently signed a four-movie deal with Netflix. In the past, the duo has brought us the likes of Jeff, Who Lives At Home and The Puffy Chair. And, of course, Mark stars as Pete Eckhart on FX’s The League. It’s Thursday, folks! And that is usually when comedian Jerry Seinfeld drops a new Single Shot from his hit web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. And keeping true to his schedule, the vet comic did just that earlier today. In this newest one titled “OMG” – youngster lingo for “Oh My God” – Seinfeld discusses God (sort of) with the likes of Ricky Gervais, Sarah Silverman, Colin Quinn, and more. And naturally, there are just a couple of slams and jabs from a number of atheists as well as some mentionings of the one and only Jesus Christ … and of course, L. Ron Hubbard’s Scientology religion. Gotta give it to Betty White –– 93-years-old and still keeping life fun, interesting and sincere! The legendary actress turned the young age of 93 just yesterday, Jan. 18. To celebrate the day, her friends over at Hot In Cleveland decided to treat the former Golden Girls star with a little surprise flash mob during their Season 6 filming. It's being reported that there was a drive-by shooting a little ways outside of Vice President Joe Biden's Delaware home just last night –– Saturday, Jan. 17. A vehicle reportedly drove passed a nearby street by VP's home around 8:25 p.m. and unloaded a number of shots "from hundreds of yards beyond the Secret Service's perimeter," according to TMZ. We all want more Louis C.K. don’t well? Well, until we start seeing new episodes of his FX series Louie, can we all settle for behind the camera? It’s being reported that the famed stand up is going to be heading to the director’s chair to direct his Lucky Louie co-star, and notable Californication actress, Pamela Adlon in a comedy pilot for FX titled Better Things. How do you like your eggs – scrambled? Fred? Over easy? Over medium? Over hard? Did anyone else just learn that the last two were things? Anyway, however you like your eggs, there’s a comedian out there who will agree with you – except on the over hard thing… except for stand up Jerry Seinfeld. The noted comedians just dropped a new Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Single Shot titled “Eggs Any Style.” In the below clip, the comic seems to debate the different types of eggs that can be ordered with the likes of Larry David, Ricky Gevais, Bill Burr and Sarah Silverman. Last night’s episode of CONAN was undoubtedly hilarious, but perhaps the funniest segment came during host Conan O’Brien’s “Coffee Table Books That Didn’t Sell” segment. If you haven’t seen the bit, it’s pretty self-explanatory –– O’Brien sits next to sidekick Andy Richter and the two go through some coffee table books that were rejected upon publication. And while last night’s segment held a number of funny pieces – including Stoned Horses – the best of all was the book Careful of the Coz!, which, naturally, had something to do with comedian Bill Cosby and those rape allegations being flung around from all different angles … too many actually. The bit came just days after Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a hilarious joke at the famed Cosby Show star’s expense and about a week after O’Brien gave a heartwarming speech about the Charlie Hebdo Tragedy in Paris.
