The WWE and UFC have been doing a lot of cross promotions as of late, and it looks like another fighter from the octagon might be coming over to the sports entertainment realm. In case you hadn’t noticed, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in stellar shape. The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar, who might as well moonlight as a bodybuilder instead of being an actor as well, recently finished off his appearance on WrestleMania and is now celebrating the uber success of his latest film Furious 7. Smackdown moving back to Thursday nights this year was huge news for WWE fans. When it debuted in 1999 that was its original night slot and the Thursday move gave the show a bit of a nostalgic feel to it. Well it looks like there's more monumental news in the Smackdown realm as WWE made the big announcement Tuesday that it will be joining Monday Night Raw on the USA Network beginning in December 2016. AJ Lee was only in the WWE a few years and in that short time her contribution to female wrestling is greatly appreciated by fans. Especially since she came up during a time when female wrestling wasn't held in the highest regard with bookers giving the divas less then three minutes to tell a story in the ring. Ronda Rousey is the UFC's Women's Bantamweight Champion. She's also one of the few people to successfully smack around Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in their own ring at their biggest show Wrestlemania. Fans who saw the spectacular moment between Rousey and the Rock are probably wondering when the next time we'll see her in a WWE ring is. The 'Biggest Party of the Summer' has returned to the Big Apple after a 16-year absence, but if you haven't gotten your ticket yet, then you're out of luck. Tickets for SummerSlam, WWE's second-biggest card of the year, sold out "immediately" after going on sale to the general public Saturday, March 14, according to SEScoops. Rapper Snoop Dogg and ESPN's Bill Simmons are headed to the Staples Center this week for 'WWE Monday Night Raw.' Since the show is practically in their backyard it only makes sense that the two stop by wrestling's L.A. dojo. Also, wrestler Curtis Axel has called out Snoop, so there will be an #AxelMania-#SnoopMania showdown. Snoop will be the official guest host while Simmons -- the man who carried 'Page 2' on his back before it fell apart -- will announce a few matches alongside JBL, Michael Cole and Booker T. Paige dominated the Diva's division for most of this year after making her debut the night after Wrestlemania. Despite how great she's been it's still a little odd she wasn't in WWE 2K15. Thankfully that was rectified when Paige became downloadable content for anybody who purchased the Season Pass in November for $25. "Total Divas" star Ariane Andrew is saying "Bye, Bye" to her reality star fame and hello to her career as a pop music sensation. The star of the WWE reality series on E! was trying to pursue her passion for music when viewers last left her during the last season, and today the star exploded onto the scene with a new music video for her debut single "Bye, Bye." Now we know the diva is known for her catchphrase "Girl, bye," but she uses the expression as a springboard for her new "sure to be" club jam. In the video, the singer takes to the streets and the nightlife of what looks like New York City as she goes between cruising on her motorcycle and shaking her groove thing at a nightclub. It's official, both boxing and the WWE are quickly fading far behind the UFC when it comes to the fighting business. Brock Lesnar has been from the UFC to the WWE, but apparently the grass was much greener in the octagon, and he wants to head back, as does former WWE star CM Punk. On top of that, rumours are suggesting that boxers who are nearing the end of their (respectable career), like Dereck Chisora could head that way too.
