According to another new Google Trends list released by the search engine company, video games have become quite the search query on YouTube. Google released its top search terms for YouTube videos of 2014, and two of the top 9 subjects were video games, with Minecraft coming in second overall. Cinematic launch trailers for new Call of Duty titles are a great place to see some sneak-peeks at brand new gameplay footage, but also high-profile celebrities. Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed movie adaptation based off of the Ubisoft video game franchise of the same name was supposed to hit theaters in 2015, but has since been pushed to 2016. The PlayStation 4 Beta gameplay for the highly anticipated massively multiplayer online first-person shooter (MMOFPS) title Planetside 2 has been confirmed for January 2015. After Sony had a strange hacking occurrence earlier this month, it looks like another form of entertainment has fallen victim to the mysterious strain of hackers out there. The online video gaming networks Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, which correspond with their respective consoles, were down earlier this morning, with a group of hackers taking credit for the crash.
