Country music singer David Allan Coe reportedly ran a red light Tuesday, colliding with a tractor-trailer and injuring himself and truck's occupants in Ocala, Florida. Police have cited the 73-year-old singer and he has been hospitalized. The driver of the truck, 50-year-old Robert Johnson, and his passenger, 49-year-old Lisa Meade, were also injured, but no reports have surfaced if whether or not they have been hospitalized like Coe. This morning, west coast rapper and "Couples Therapy" star Too Short (born Todd Anthony Shaw) was arrested for DUI in Hollywood after allegedly trying to escape his sobriety test on foot. While in the back of the police cruiser on his way to the station, the 46-year-old rap pioneer attempted to ditch narcotics that he had. He was rearrested and charged for felony drug possession. However, her stint in the stripping and pornography industries last year has more than likely added to her income. Selena Gomez is still making the rounds to promote her new sexy film, Spring Breakers, and last night she stopped by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to talk about the movie and do a special duet with the former "SNL" cast member. Originally written and performed by Sam Hart, "Mario Kart Love Song" became a huge YouTube and iTunes hit, so Jimmy and Selena decided to treat their fans to a special rendition. While being interviewed on "The Jonathan Ross Show," Ian McKellan broke the news that he will be officiating the wedding ceremony of his X-Men co-star Patrick Stewart to jazz performer Sunny Ozell. In the super hero films, McKellan and Stewart play archrivals with a friendly past. In real life they are close friends. Close enough for Patrick wanting Ian in his wedding, right up there with him. Kate Middleton might be 5 months pregnant, but that has yet to stop her from her formal engagement duties like today's visit to Baker Street with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip to celebrate 150 years of the London Underground. The Queen was last seen last week when she signed the Commonwealth's new charter. Last year when the royal trio visited the Tube for the Diamond Jubilee tour, Kate sported an attractive, tight belt around her waist. The 28-year-old royal lovebird recently said he wanted to hang out with Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence when he visits the states, sparking rumors of courtship. Meanwhile, he was spotted on a date with his on again off again model girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, this weekend. Also, 24-year-old Cressida isn't too fond of Harry's flirtatious relationship with his sister-in-law, Pippa Middleton. This is the latest in a series of mug shots for the Lindsay Lohan after she pleaded no contest in her Los Angeles reckless driving trial on Monday, accepting a plea deal to undergo 3 months in rehab. The 26-year-old actress turned herself in yesterday as a formality and had her latest mug shot taken. A spokesperson for the Santa Monica Police Department said that the Mean Girls star was booked and then released. Lohan was originally sentenced to spend five days in jail, but that time will be served in a locked-down rehabilitation facility as part of her aforementioned plea deal, which also includes 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychotherapy. Michelle Shocked is a renowned alternative folk artist, best known for her work in the 1990s. Well, after a concert in San Francisco this weekend, she is going to be remembered for slurring the LGBT movement in a confusing and odd manner. During her show, Shocked (real name Karen Michelle Johnston) mentioned she had an "invisible man" with her on stage. Okay, fine. Then a crowd member asked for a gospel song, to which Shocked responded, "I love me some Jesus." Sure, that's fine, too, Michelle. But then it got pretty weird and abruptly prejudice. Read More »
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. was a popular Cold War spy television series from 1964 to 1968. After Matthew Vaughn, David Dobkin, and Steven Soderbergh all dropped out of directing the film adaptation, Guy Ritchie has taken the helm. Ritchie seems to be aiming high when it comes to casting the lead role of Napolean Solo. Rumors have been circulating that the Sherlock Holmes director wants legendary Hollywood action star Tom Cruise for the role. Plus it turns out the actor is interested in the role. It looks like Tom Cruise is really into portraying a spy in films. Rilo Kiley is not be making any new music as band so instead they will release an archival compilation of previously unreleased tracks entitled rkives. This album will be put out by "Little Record Company," which is a label run by bassist Pierre DeReeder. The first track off of rkives is "Let Me Back In," which was originally only played as encores at shows and originally titled "I Love L.A." Rilo Kiley shared the music video for this new track, comprised of tour footage from the band and fans over the years. It is worth it just to see a young Jenny Lewis before she became a fashion icon.
